About Diploma
The unique Diploma in Management of Computer Operations for Cooperatives is an exclusive Diploma and first of its kind in the country. The contents of the Diploma are based on actual requirements of Cooperative Institutions like Banks, Sugar Factories and Dairy Cooperatives and therefore, will go a long way in systematic implementation of computerisation to achieve expected results through computerisation. The Diploma is, therefore, moulded into various Modules and components which will take care of handling of IT operations at VAMNICOM as well as in their respective organisations during their one month Project Placement. The Course Curriculum of this Diploma will help the participating staff/officers to shoulder the challenging responsibility of IT Security, Data Base Administration etc. This Diploma is approved by NCCT, New Delhi.
Objectives
The Diploma aims to cover following objectives :
To make aware of IT operations. To acquaint with emerging technology challenges. To explain the role of individuals in IT operations and importance of segregation of duties. To equip IT staff/officers in procedural aspects of IT operations. To familiarise with various aspects and its importance in computerised environment.
DURATION : Two batches : 3 months
Two months at VAMNICOM & 1 month at sponsoring organisation

Examination
Examination will be conducted for the subjects with due weightage to theory and practical examination including continuous internal assessment with 60% weightage and external examination with 40% weightage.

Project
The participants will have to undertake project work in the second month at their respective organisations.
On successful completion, the Diploma will be awarded on the basis of Internal and External assessment with Grade.

IT Staff/Officers & Staff of various Departments/Sections from Cooperative Banks, Sugar Factories, Dairy Cooperatives and Staff of other sectors.

Educational Qualification
Any Graduate may join the Programme. The educational qualification may be relaxed for experienced and deserving candidates who are associated in IT operations for minimum of last three years.
