The IT Centre has a team of dedicated, qualified and experienced faculty members who have extended the services from National level to Primary level cooperative institutions for computerisation and deployment of IT enabled services. The Centre has successfully completed more than 50 Consultancy Projects which includes Total Branch Automation (TBA), IT set up evaluation, Core Banking, Systems Audit, etc. This has enabled the cooperatives seeking consultancy to computerize economically without any compromise on quality.
The IT Centre in collaboration with National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) and International Cooperative Alliance (ICA) has launched a Global HRD Network portal with the objective of networking worldwide Cooperative Institutions imparting Education and Training.
Besides the above activities, the Centre is responsible for maintaining the entire IT set up at the Institute and organisation of training programmes on "Emerging Trends in IT" applicable to Cooperative Institutions. The Centre also organises Trainers' Training programme for faculty of Regional Institute of Cooperative Management (RICMs) and Institute of Cooperative Management (ICMs).
Realising the dire need for indepth operational training for the personnel in the cooperative sector, the Centre has launched a Diploma in Management of Computer Operations from the year 2009-2010. Click for Brochure
